The Art and Science Of Forgiveness Part 2

............Each time you relive a past event, feel good or feel bad chemicals are released  into your brain and body.  These chemicals can cause illnesses, and diseases.
Think about what happens when you have a dream. Your body reacts as if the dream is happening for real. The same is true when you relive past events. It is sort of peculiar, but you have to keep playing the event in your mind, in order to not forgive. Forgiving allows you to feel all of the good in the now, and leads to a healthier life.................


.................I also find spiritual concepts that make it easier for me to forgive. I read something in a book that has helped me. It said we made decisions with other souls to experience certain events on earth. That means I agreed to be a part of all of the events of my life. It made sense to me. If it doesn't make sense to you, don’t force it.

You have to find a concept, or belief that works for you.

............Another concept I use to help forgive is the thought that every event in my life has moved me to where I am now, and I am very happy with where I am now. That means that the people I forgave actually added some value to my experience. If you were to ask me how I could tell you. I have taken the time to identify exactly how they helped me..................


.....................Remember, this is a gradual process. Please do not approach this like it’s a diet, or a new way of  stopping a bad habit. Do what you can when you can. If being on a schedule works best for you, then schedule in some time to do what I am asking you to do. I want you to ease into it. As it starts to work for you, you will naturally want to do more....................
